Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle, non-invasive, hands-on healing modality that focuses on the "craniosacral system.” This system includes the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord, which innervates the body as a whole, orchestrating the CSF Rhythm. The nervous system has a role sending and receiving information which induces deep relaxation as the body’s inherit ability to self-heal is unfolding.
CST can be beneficial for:
Insomnia
Stress
Post Traumatic Stress/Anxiety/Depression
Migraines and Headaches
Chronic Pain
Autoimmune Dis-ease
TMJ Dis-ease
MVA
Pre/Post OP Surgery
Supports meditators seeking to deepen their meditation as you may tune into your awareness of the body or mindfulness

Biodynamic concept of Craniosacral therapy is that the body will lead to find restrictions to make aware of and the practitioner’s goal is to be present with it and support these restrictions to unfold itself. Our bodies have a natural ability to heal itself and so our goal is to support that inherit wisdom of the body.
Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) Rhythm: The practitioner feels for the subtle, rhythmic pulse or movement in the CSF. Which is the key component to the nervous system
Fascial Release: CST supports releasing tension in the fascia, which is a network of connective tissue that encases organs, glands, nerves, muscles, blood vessels, the brain, and spinal cord throughout the body
Self-Healing: The goal of CST is to support the body's natural healing capabilities to unwind restrictions and imbalances in the craniosacral system, thereby improving the functioning of the central nervous system

Clients are fully dressed and cozy in a warm bed for maximum comfort.
I will place gentle hand holds on the body and quiet my system down to listen to the CSF rhythm and the body will take the lead and show the restriction(s) as I hold space and bring my awareness to these restriction and support the unfolding process.
Each client has a unique experience based on their body. Some have felt sensations of their bodies’ finding the restrictions and the unwinding of it, some have felt like they are at peace floating in water, some may feel deep relaxation and felt like they had napped for “100 years”.
CST has a powerful affect to the parasympathetic nervous system which helps regulate the body’s rest and digest
